Scarlett has been making her own films from age 11. Her documentary 'Georgia' created in 2016 was awarded 3 awards in 2016 Making A Difference film competition. 

She graduated from The New Zealand Film and Television School in December 2017 where she was Director of Photography on grad film 'Jasmine'.

In July 2018, she became a full time Camera Operator at TVNZ where she has worked since 2016 as an Operations Assistant. 

From 2024 she is living in London, as a videographer and editor.
